Lactic acid peel is regarded as one of the most safe and gentle face peels alongside with almond peeling. 20-40% Lactic Acid Peel Downtime:
The 20-40% Lactic Acid Peel has little to no downtime. Typically, this peel does not produce visible peeling. The skin may feel tight and shiny and may be a bit pink in color during application and a few hours following application. You can resume to normal exfoliation after one week.
60% Lactic Acid Peel Downtime:
The 60% Lactic Acid Peel has mild to moderate downtime. Typically you will see some light to medium peeling and some areas of the skin may frost ( turning a white/offwhite color ) during application. It is common for frosted areas to darken before peeling off. The peeling typically starts on day 4 or 5. You can resume to normal exfoliation after one week.
Step 1: Cleansing
Cleanse skin with our Green Tea Age Defying Cleanser and pat dry.
Step 2: Pre-peel
Apply pre-peel solution using a cotton pat, wipe the peel area throughly remove surface oils and dirt to ensure the skin is properly cleansed. Allow your skin to dry thoroughly.
Step 3: Peel
Pour out Lactic Acid Peel solution to glass bowl about 3 ml. Apply Lactic Acid Peel with brush or gauze pad. Begin at the forehead and apply acid down the entire face, avoid eyes and lips. Apply to neck and chest, if desired. Allow the acid to process for 3-7 minute.
Step 4: Neutralization
Remove the peel by applying the Neutralizer Solution with brush directly over the applied area. Rinse the remaining solution with cool water. Gently pat the skin dry.
Step 5: Skin moisturization, soothing and nourishment
Apply EGF Peptide Stem Cell Serum. Repeat application of EGF Peptide Stem Cell Serum twice daily and as needed to moisturize the skin throughout the day. Apply SPF 30 daily to protect the skin from damage during the day. Use once a week. If irritation develops, discontinue use.
After Your Peel:
Generously apply EGF Peptide Stem Cell Serum or Hyaluronic Ceramide Serum or your favorite moisturizer as needed for tight, dry skin. Use a minimum of broad spectrum SPF 30 every day to protect healing skin. Begin using a daily exfoliator in between peels for long lasting results.
